It's 250km across the Torres Strait from Cape York in Queensland to Papua New Guinea, a fact 8 Surf Lifesavers from around New South Wales are intimately familiar with.

The 'Musselrowers' are a group of 8 surf lifesavers dedicated to embarking on long journeys to raise money for charity.

They've just finished their 3 day paddle across the Torres Strait, all to raise money for the Black Dog Institute.
