The rate at which mistakes pile up in the DNA we inherit from our mothers contradicts evolutionary ideas. If humans really have been around for hundreds of thousands of years, we’d expect to see hundreds of mutations. But we don’t see that!
This is a big problem for evolution! Mutations are supposedly the driving force of evolution. And yet evolutionists can’t explain the low numbers of mutations. The driving force for evolution doesn’t match evolutionary predictions!
What it does do is support a biblical timescale. God created humans just a few thousand years ago, so there hasn’t been time for mutations to pile up.
