With Human, Flandez showcases an eclectic collage of sounds recorded and reworked over the last year. Throughout the performance, unexpected turns and a quasi-cinematic narration were brought forward in a conventional 4/4 tempo sprinkled with syncopated percussive elements, bouncy basslines and enigmatic vocals, and layered on improvised rhythms and modular melodies.

Hypermobility is an audiovisual performance by Myriam Bleau combining distilled hints of dance music with volumetric laser projections. The hyperkinetic patterns of Supercollider's digital synthesis are visualized by a laser beam creating sculpted planes of light above the audience.

The waste generated by people and their interaction with food constitutes the central theme of A Discard Study. As part of this unique performance, Mue and Katherine Melançon will eat various foods in order to create real-time sounds and visuals, which will then be transformed and layered over other images and sounds of food waste from a previous dinner between the three artists.

Defined by the artist as “Molecular Music”, his sound translates into a constant exchange between matter, time and space. By recreating his own studio environment, consisting of a synthesizer, a drum machine, effects pedals and Ableton, SIM creates the perfect conditions for bodies to get carried by different polyrhythms.
