Randy and Ben discuss the where the team is heading into the gauntlet of the 2024 schedule and what we feel is both good and needs to improve on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. We also debate whether it is better to retain Napier or part ways and what the potential gains and losses of each scenario would be. Lastly we finish with another round of Keep It or Pitch It for this weeks game with UGA and a review of what the NCAA 25 sims showed about the matchup for this weekend.

Ben and Randy break down the blowout win over Kentucky and how the Gators were able to score so effectively against a solid Kentucky defense. We also discuss how the defense continues to perform well since the bye week, but where we continue to see opportunity for both sides to improve as well. We also review our keep it or pitch it picks from last week and how our pre-season picks are looking heading into the mid-season bye week as well.

We discuss the difficulties on offense, particularly in the red zone, but also how well the defense played to keep us competitive in the game. We also play another round of Keep It or Pitch It for this week's Homecoming game with Kentucky and review the Sim results from NCAA '25 for that game as well.

Randy and Ben break down the impressive win over Samford, including DJ Lagway's breakout first starting performance. We discuss how despite the lowered competition, his throwing accuracy and pocket presence were extremely impressive. We also discuss the improvements we saw from the defense, and even some better play design! Lastly we play another round of Keep It or Pitch It for this week against Florida West (Texas A&M) as well as discuss the sim results from NCAA 25.

We discuss where things went wrong on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball including analysis of play calling, communication issues, and execution. We discuss our concerns about how the team will respond, but also our belief in the players as a group and the culture this team has shown. We also raise questions about how the coaching staff will improve their performance to get the players to perform at a level that better reflects their talent! Lastly we play Keep It or Pitch It for Samford and review some interesting sim results from NCAA 25 regarding this weeks game with either Mertz or Lagway at starting QB.

As a new added segment, we are also going to look at some data from SIMs run in the new EA college football game to see what data is produced from various scenarios. Lastly, we make our picks for each game in the 2024 Florida Gator's season.
