With the controversy surrounding the 2022 Winter Olympic games in Beijing (Covid19 concerns, diplomatic problems, human rights violations, the environmental impact of The Games), Dan and Kim asked the question, “Should we cancel the Olympics in general?”
Instead of your faithful hosts answering this question— who, despite their amazing coordination and athletic prowess, have never competed at any level even close to Olympic status— Kim and Dan invited an actual gold-medal Olympian to share her thoughts.
Michelle Carter, Shot Diva, won gold in shotput in Rio in 2016. She was the first American to win gold in that competition. She also is a proud Black woman. Michelle brought her experience and perspective to the conversation with some wonderful insight.
