Hershall, today we had an interview with the (in my humble opinion) greatest mother of them all, Sis. Cynthia Grace Birdsong (aka Cyndi Birdsong). We (Deacon Dustin, Songleader Brad and your Humble Virtual Pastor) first paid homage (big word meaning special honor) to all of our mothers by bragging on the worst/best dishes they prepared for us in our respective childhoods. During that portion of the program, I gave the audience a glimpse of where my humility began. (Hint: it has to do with a household chore of setting the table) Also, I divulged (big word) that I have been in the number of the redeemed that say “sew” so to speak. We talked about my mother’s transition to preacher’s wife from builder’s wife. She shared many valuable things including great instructions to “be yourself.” 

We finished by playing a popular Name That Lyric game… contest between me, the Deacon and Mother Dearest. Stay “tuned” til the very end to get the results….  (Post-program very end) We had many laughs and a few tears today. God bless all the mothers of the world! Enjoy!
