Expectations can be dangerous. On the one hand, we should expect God to live up to His character, to keep His promises, and to work all things for the good of those who love Him. On the other hand, if we have expectations for precisely how God will work in every situation, we may end up disappointed—or, worse, we may end up missing out on the good things God has for us. In today’s devotional, Dr. Michael Youssef examines Naaman’s step of faith shared in 2 Kings 5.

In today’s devotional, Dr. Michael Youssef warns about an enemy of faith.

We often think of waiting as something we do passively and inactively. We wait in line at the DMV, we wait for a bus, we wait in the doctor’s office or the dentist’s office. But when the Bible speaks of waiting for the Lord’s return, it is not speaking of being inert and passive. In today’s devotional, Dr. Michael Youssef explains the concept of Biblical waiting.
