Paul charged Timothy to "teach no other doctrine, nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies..."  We need a realistic faith built of the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone. In each child of God resides a root of bitterness (Hebrews 12:15). It is residue from our fallen nature that the Lord must expose to perfect us.  Moses for instance needed the stubborn rebellion of his people to expose the anger in his heart. Pastor Singh also explains the difference between the wrath of God and the chastening of God in this impactful lesson.              (June 28, 2020)

Have you considered what God had in mind for you and me when he allowed the COVID-19 pestilence to ravage our land? Our attitude towards trials and obstacles will determine our spiritual prosperity in the church. It is in the church that we learn to conquer our spiritual giants. If we focus on worldly-advice, we will be overwhelmed by fear or wonder after the beast. A child of God needs their spiritual antenna turned in to Jesus through his anointed ministry.  (June 27, 2020)

What was different between Joshua and Aaron? Both served Moses, one as a servant, the other as a priest. At the end of Moses's life, God bypassed Aaron choosing Joshua to carry on Moses's work. The reasons are significant!  Pastor Singh gives us essential insight into the spirit of a servant and how God uses it to further His work.

In a great house {that is the church}, there are not only gold and silver vessels but also those made wood and clay. Some are vessels of honor, while some are vessels of  dishonor.  (2 Timothy 2:20)  On the day of Sister June Goodwin's funeral service in the Des Moines Iowa Assembly, Brother Singh pays tribute to a stalwart saint. He uses the occasion to bring a valuable object lesson.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy spirit from me."  Using Psalm 51, Pastor Singh teaches us that it is not enough to blot out our transgressions, but we need the root cause of our sin habits eliminated.  An essential message for every child of God, progressing along the road to sanctification.

Many Christians believe the Christian life should be happy, healthy, and wealthy. But, did Jesus preach such a gospel? Did Peter or Paul teach a carefree Christian life?  No! James wrote: "Brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations {or trials}. Temptation and trials are the hallmarks of genuine Christian conversion. Pastor Singh teaches on the necessity of understanding the trials we face and their purpose in our sanctification process.

Sanctification is progressive. It takes time to overcome our fallen human nature, surrender our love of the world, and learn to resist temptation. This reality is beautifully described in 2 Peter 1:4-6. When taught by God's anointed ministry, the lesson motivates our hearts to seek the divine nature offered to us through Christ Jesus.
