In this timeless message, Pastor Singh forewarned our Assembly in 2014 that God would have to judge North America based on our declining commitment. His prognostic words now form part of our foundation.  Yet we often remain complacent, knowing full well that accomplishing our spiritual goals demands sacrifice.  Sin impedes our prayer and dedication. As judgment falls on the world in 2020, some saints fail to recognize chastisement. Many of us deny that we are terminally ill spiritually. We have become spiritual zombies, "having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof."   (2014)

Each child of God needs a realistic understanding scripture upon which to build their faith. We "press toward the mark for the prize of God's high calling in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:14). That high calling is to be a member of Christ's bride. It is like striving for 100% in a calculus exam, a goal all aspire to achieve, but precious few attain. Using Revelation 14, Pastor Singh shows us the qualifications a bride member must meet.  Most of us will not be overcomers. But falling short of perfection is no reason not to strive for it. The resurrection of life (John 5:28) is our ultimate goal.    (August 2, 2020)

During times of judgment, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, self-examination is critical. We Christians can be very good at pointing figures at others while ignoring our rebellion and hypocrisy. We have failed to meet God's standards, both collectively and individually. Pastor Singh warns that we cannot claim to be out of spiritual Babylon if we are still sipping the wine of her fornication. "Come out of her my people" (Rev. 18:4) refers to a condition of our hearts! We fail to realize our addiction to the things of the world that God will soon destroy. (August 1, 2020)

It is one thing to know the word of God, but quite another to abide in it. "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." (John 15:7)  An elect child of God needs to "drink waters out of their own cistern, and running waters out of their  own well." (Pr. 5:15) If God has led us to the truth, it is a dangerous thing to resist the ministry. Pastor Singh warns that there is a contrary spirit working in religion that is not the Spirit of Christ. Following other "preachers" for whatever reason, contaminates the mind and erodes our faith.   (June 2018) 

When a nation is judged, some children of God will respond to chastening and improve their commitment. Others will use it as an opportunity to backslide and leave the church. In the information age, it is hard to decipher truth from misinformation. Never has there been a greater need for the Holy Spirit to inspire the ministry to preach what God desires His people to hear. God's plan for spreading the gospel is different than ours.  Jesus taught in parables so that "hearing {some} would hear but  not understand, and seeing {some} would see, and shall not perceive." But blessed are your eyes if they see: and your ears, if they hear.   (July 29, 2020)

Every man called by God will have his authority challenged. It will not be challenged by the secular world, but rather by the established religious world. The apostle John wrote: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits {preachers} whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1) God's people must not be gullible. We are not to be "tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine... " This an essential lesson to absorbed into the heart of every elect child of God.  (December 2, 2018)

A genuine Holy Ghost experience leads us into all truth. A preacher can only preach the gospel, but it is God who provides individuals with a revelation. There is no reality more significant than that of understanding the nature and kinship of Jesus. He was "declared to be the Son of God with power... by the resurrection from the dead." (Romans 1:4)  In this critical lesson, Pastor Singh shows us from Scripture that a correct understanding of Jesus is essential for every elect child of God, lest we follow another Jesus.  (July 26, 2020)

Preachers are plentiful, but God-called ministers are in short supply. Elihu declared, "If there be a messenger (a preacher) with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness." (Job 33:23) Pastor Singh identifies three main preaching styles: Entertaining, educating, and illuminating. Each method has a role in fulfilling God's purpose, but effective preaching ought to illuminate those being saved by pointing to righteousness.  (July 25, 2020)

Hearing the word of God is one thing; implementing God's word in our lives is another!  In these last days, many voices claim to speak for God. A child of God needs to distinguish an authentic voice in order not to be deceived. The Body of Christ is unique in that each assembly has a message delivered particularly to it. What is delivered to Mississauga, will differ from Des Moines, Vasai, Hartford, or Almont! We share the same foundation, but the particulars of how God's word is applied is exclusive for the local assembly.  Pastor Singh stresses the need for following our local pastors.  (July 22, 2020)

If we are honest, we will discover that much of what we do in worship is because of tradition.  In this message, Pastor Singh challenges us to determine what God wants, rather than what pleases us.  God is spirit. He demands that we worship him in spirit and truth. What is the origin of our ways? Could they mimic apostate religion or even pagan practices?  Sobering but necessary questions are addressed.    (July  19. 2020)
