Hearing the word of God is one thing; implementing God's word in our lives is another!  In these last days, many voices claim to speak for God. A child of God needs to distinguish an authentic voice in order not to be deceived. The Body of Christ is unique in that each assembly has a message delivered particularly to it. What is delivered to Mississauga, will differ from Des Moines, Vasai, Hartford, or Almont! We share the same foundation, but the particulars of how God's word is applied is exclusive for the local assembly.  Pastor Singh stresses the need for following our local pastors.  (July 22, 2020)

If we are honest, we will discover that much of what we do in worship is because of tradition.  In this message, Pastor Singh challenges us to determine what God wants, rather than what pleases us.  God is spirit. He demands that we worship him in spirit and truth. What is the origin of our ways? Could they mimic apostate religion or even pagan practices?  Sobering but necessary questions are addressed.    (July  19. 2020)

The apostle Paul wrote to Timothy: "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."  (2 Timothy 2:2). Continuity of the message handed down from the Father, through the Son, and to the anointed ministry is essential. Without strong leadership, the work of God quickly is undermined by fickle tendencies to revert to pagan and apostate practices. A faithful servant of God must eliminate every trace of golden calves and brazen serpents that threaten to undermine faithfulness.  (July 18, 2020)

In horticulture, pruning is the removal or reduction of parts of a tree or vine that are not requisite to growth or production. The bible calls spiritual pruning, "purging. " "Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit." (John 15:2) One of the hardest concepts for modern Christians is to understand the need for purging. God uses Pastor Singh to correct our misconceptions about life in Christ.    (July 15, 2020)

Using Isaiah 24, Pastor Singh demonstrates the parallels between prophecy uttered 2700 years ago, and what we are witnessing today as the judgment of COVID-19 sweeps the world. "Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof."  While God has been merciful to our Assembly, have we responded to Him with gratitude and improved dedication? Or, have we been caught up with the chaos and concerns of the ungodly.     (July 12, 2020)

Paul wrote instructions to Timothy, "that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in God's house, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth" (1 Timothy 3:15). God's sanctuary is to be reverenced. There is a due order than enables the congregation to milk the most out of each service. Even when listening to messages at home, our conduct ought to please God.   (July 11, 2020)

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." (1 Timothy 4:1)  Paul's sobering warning speaks of the state of the Christian church today. 

Timothy 3 is the third and final installment in this excellent series. The Lord has placed many unique thoughts in Pastor's Singh's mind over the past couple of years. In these last days, he earnestly awaits the Lord to raise "seven thunders" to utter new instructions to God's people (Rev. 10:4), a message the world has never previously heard.   (July 8, 2020)

Pastor Singh anticipates an onslaught of persecution against the church before the Bride of Christ is caught up to heaven. Carnal weapons are useless in spiritual warfare. The Bride of Christ consists of overcomers. They overcome all the obstacles that hinder God's work. (1 John 2:16)  Yet, all believers are engaged in  "spiritual battle." For this reason, we must put on the full armor of God. (Ephesians 6:17)

Timothy is a perfect case study in discipleship. A disciple follows the doctrines and develops the vision of the teacher. He knows how to adapt the principles and precepts of the master and can apply them effectively to meet the local assembly's needs. Timothy was steadfast, reliable, and trustworthy when taking over any church God planted under Paul's ministry.  (July 5, 2020)
