Two essential elements of the early church seem to be lacking in today's church. A) The genuine-baptism of the Holy Ghost in all officeholders' lives. B) The dedicated commitment possessed by deacons, elders, and bishops. Few men today could live up to the standards demanded by the apostles in the early church. We have lowered our standards, but God has not. As we live out the last days at the end of the age, Pastor Singh urges the church to rededicate itself to please our Lord, not ourselves.   August 19, 2020

In this lesson, Pastor Singh confronts us with our reality. "The children of God are responsible for the COVID Pandemic that is affecting the whole world!"  Quoting 1 Peter 4:17, he shows us that if we were living according to God's law, judgment would not be necessary.  Jesus is returning for a church without spot or wrinkle. Yet we allow ourselves to be "spotted," contaminated by the beastly system's enticements and thereby worship the dragon.  (Revelation 13:3-4) Pastor Singh has preached holiness and discipleship since he arrived in Canada over 40 years ago. He makes an impassioned plea for repentance, but will we, the children of God, respond or remain complacent?  August 16, 2020

Jesus said, "Because iniquity shall abound the love of many will wax cold." Often, the Body of Christ prides itself as the epitome of what God wants His people to be. It is a presumptuous thinking, for iniquity is subtle and can easily creep into our lives. Using Isaiah Chapter 1, Pastor Singh challenges us to examine our methods of worshiping and serving God. Israel had all the mechanics of religion right, but God rejected their practices. This message challenges us to consider if we are pleasing God or ourselves, even allowing pagan and apostate practices to influence us.  (August 8, 2020)

Pastor Singh sets an extraordinary example for our assembly. He listens to the word of God continually. His messages captured on his cellphone, continuously feed his mind.  It is an example of technology put to good use.  "Walking with Jesus" begins early each morning with our thoughts focused on the reality of our Lord's presence. Jesus did nothing outside of the will of the Father. We can emulate that example by following our local pastor's ways, which be in Christ.  (1 Corinthians 4:17) Our inherently fallen nature is preoccupied with worldly interests. Unless we deliberately learn to focus on an intimate relationship with our Lord, we will never learn to walk in the Spirit.    (August 8, 2020)

Noah's ark delivered Noah, his family, and the animals safely through the flood. Today, it is not water that threatens the family of God, but a tsunami of ungodliness. War is being waged against the saints. The church is the ark of God for these final days during the great tribulation. Yet, the vessel we depend upon to save us submerges with worldliness. We have contaminated our ark and sabotaged our vessel.   "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and heal their land."  As judgment falls, Pastor Desmond Singh warns it is not enough to know scripture; we must apply it to our lives and obey it!             August 12, 2020

Pastor Desmond Singh asks, "How do you think the devil undermines your faith? The devil does not drill holes in the foundation of the church to weaken it?  No! The devil undermines our faith by encouraging us to cling to roots of bitterness; to dance before our golden calves; to lift a bronze serpent for our healing. "Roots of bitterness" are those personal grudges and prejudices that enslave us. Our golden calves are pagan or apostate idols we overtly or covertly worship in our lives.  We look to a "bronze serpent" symbolically each time we cling to something God did once in the past. The devil is the father of all false religion, false doctrines, and all "forms of idolatry." The Body of Christ is not impervious to deception. We must examine ourselves diligently and DO the will of the of our heavenly Father. (Matthew 7:21)    February 26, 2020

The scriptures challenge us to become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish while living in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, and yet we are to be seen as lights in the world. (Phil. 2:15) Compromise diminishes our witness for Christ, but so too does being arrogant, condescending Christians. Israel was taken physically out of Egypt in one day. Conversely, the church remains in Egypt but yet is to be sanctified.  Speaking as a wise father, Pastor Singh counsels us to let our light so shine before men, that the world may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven.   (01-08-20)

We live in an unprecedented period of history when we need to examine everything in light of God's word. Pastor Singh reminds us that COVID-19 did not happen by accident. There is a reason for it. What is a judgment for the ungodly, chastens a child of God!   "Once more, I will shake not only the earth but heaven as well ... for the removal of what needs removing ... so that the unshakable may remain.…"  (Heb. 12:26-27). Using Job as an example, Pastor Singh demonstrates that all elect children of God will be processed to be purified.  An invaluable lesson for every saint enduring suffering.   (August 9, 2020)

It is in the church that "the souls of just men are made perfect."  But as the COVID pandemic has made assembling of the local churches restricted if not impossible.  Modern technology has provided us a means of preaching the gospel through live-streaming. Like all blessings from God, the devil's role is to turn the same technology into a curse. We must resist his snares. In this practical lesson, Pastor Singh instructs us on how to maintain "due order in God's" house. No matter how the Body of Christ meets, we need to be of one mind and one accord. (August 8, 2020)
