Got out of $tslq with a 1% gain after hitting the stop loss on the way down.

News that Volvo has partnered with $tsla for charging is the catalyst that sent this stock up - this is why it’s dangerous to short the stock. 

Elon is 52 today (I’m 52 as well). 

Returns From Tesla Stock: $TSLA IPO was at a price of $17 a share on June 29, 2010. 

Given the stock underwent a 3-for-1 stock split in August 2022 and a 5-for-1 split in August 2020, the debut session's closing price is $1.59 on a split-adjusted basis.

A $1,000 investment in Tesla during its IPO would have transformed into approximately $157,365 today, representing an extraordinary return of 15,637% over a 13-year investment period. 

In comparison, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 generated returns of 321% and 54% during the same timeframe, respectively.

Chip stocks fell in the premarket after wsj reported that the U.S. was considering new export restrictions to China. $nvda shares lost 4%, while $amd fell more than 3%. the iShares Semiconductor ETF $soxx slid 1.5%.

This could be good for a swing play on $soxs since these have run big and any actual news would be a big catalyst

Sherry mentioned she bought $mpw - interesting as I’ve been hearing a lot since $slg sold park one that real estate reits are significantly under valued right now. $vno was brought up as well. Might do a reit search on finviz

$GNRC for William on Youtube - I listened to their CEO a few weeks ago and was impressed and think they might have a good turnaround. Long term it looks to be turning around.

Hey Gary, I have a stock I would like you to take a look at. Definitely potential to be part of the AI train. The company is $GTLB. As you may know, theyre the premier place to find code for software development. It’s run up a ton recently, but I think that long term, they could license their data which will be extremely valuable for the LLMs. Not urgent, but I thought it could be an interesting one for the pod. Not currently a profitable company however
