Jo Wood became a model after leaving school at 16, meeting her former husband, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, in her early twenties. In the nineties, Jo began exploring an organic lifestyle which eventually led to the launch of her own beauty brand, Jo Wood Organics in 2005. She has since become an author, documenting her rock and roll life as well as writing fiction. She now has 10 grandchildren.
