The sun behind the thick cloud-cover spread a silvery hue into the car through the back window bringing out her eyes and highlighting her sharp facial features, and the only thing I could hear was the morning as I quickly went from searching for words... to not needing any words at all.

With my senses heightened, the sweet smell of clove cigarettes, mixed with regular cigarettes, was even stronger on the inside as they coalesced with sulfur... and sweat. Continuing into the club, I inwardly grinned as I saw on the dancefloor a beautiful mass of souls expressing themselves, and expressing life!

Attendance Girl!!

It felt like my heart was going to beat right out of my chest! It was at that moment that the arm of the automatic door closer made a "hiss" sound, swinging the door behind me shut. She turned around to see who had walked in, and there I was, standing in the middle of the office lobby with the girl I had the biggest crush on staring right at me! 

Falling in love in typing class??

As the three of us were sitting in a row in the kitchen at this huge breakfast bar/counter in my old house, my mom was going on and on telling how great learning how to type would be and how it would benefit me in the future, I started to tuned her out. There was no way I was going to take typing. Then, my dad, who was on the other side of her leaned over as she was still talking said, "Gonna be a lot of girls in typing class..."
