Jesse Gould graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Economics.  After graduating college, he worked briefly in investment banking before deciding to join the Army. He became an Army Ranger and served in 3 combat deployments. After his military service, professionally he went back into high finance, but personally struggled with severe anxiety and depression.
