This week on Myopia: Defend Your Childhood, we learn a thing or two about dogs! We watched John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), the best case the 1980's ever made against global warming.

We did it! After a bit longer than expected, we have done all the James Bond Movies! I know, some of you may be sad, but don’t be! The series may be completed on the main feed, but it will continue on the Mission Briefing feed! OOOOOOOOOO! So exciting!
However, to the matter at hand, this week on Mission Briefing, Bond deals up so much fan service, Daniel Craig just sits around playing Goldeneye. We watched Inglourious Basterds, I mean, Spectre (2015). Who will replace Nic as host of Mission Briefing? Will Daniel Craig return? How long before Swann dies?
THE SUSPENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!1111!!1
Host: Nic Hoffmann
Panel: Jon, Thomas, and Daniel
Man, this movie seems more recent, but after the disappointing Quantum of Solace, Skyfall returned Bond with gusto. Adele sings a brassy ballad and the audience swooned. Also, a good flick.
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
I know, I know, you are thinking about how bad this movie is or, rather, how much you disliked it. So, thank you for even looking. It is riddled with shaky-cam, it feels rushed, and it is not crazy or campy (so bad it is good). Yet, it is brutal and at time very real. We see the death of Bond’s humanity, quite possibly. So, we watched it, why? Because it is a Bond film, of course!
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
This week on Mission Briefing, we welcome a new Bond and say good-bye to an old one; RIP Roger Moore.
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
Panel: Thomas, Matt P, Daniel, Jon
So this film is, well, I guess, goodbye once again to another Bond. This we just got to know you! We end up with this film which starts with a wedding and ends with Felix Leiter being bitten in half. So, I guess paves the way for Joe Don Baker and Jimmy Bond, which is weird.
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
Bond Experts: Daniel, Jon, Jeremy
This week we say goodbye to Pierce with one of the worst concieved Bond movies of all time, Die Another Day. From every cinematic misstep, including the American team of Halle Berry and Michael Madsen, to the “English Team” featuring Madonna’s fake accent and Pierce’s creeping Irishness, no wonder the franchise died for awhile.
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
Bond Experts: Thomas, Daniel, Jeremy, Matt
The only thing I need to say about this movie in order to see whether or not you remember it is “Christmas Jones.” This train wreck involves the death of Hagrid, M being kidnapped, and some serious Pierce Brosnan jaw acting.
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
Bond Experts: Jeremy, Daniel
Well, well, well. Fake news? Business taking over politics? Robotic cars? Bond in a BMW?!?!?! So fanciful! After the amazing Goldeneye, did Tomorrow Never Dies hold up? How did Pierce hold up? Will I answer any of these questions? Tune in to find out!
Host: Nicolas Hoffmann
Panel: Jeremy, Daniel, Jon C, Thomas
