TW: SA
In September of 1976, a young woman's body was found by the back gate of the Lorraine Park Cemetery in Woodlawn, Maryland. She had been beaten, strangled, and raped. With no clues to identify her at the scene, she was named the Woodlawn Jane Doe. Baltimore County Detectives worked hard to solve her case, but it went cold. It wouldn't be until 45 years after her death that a new, yet controversial investigative technique would allow us to identify her as 16 year old Margarett Fetterolf of Alexandria, Virginia.
TW: This case briefly discusses sexual assault.
