United States Penitentiary Alcatraz was the perfect place for the most notorious, dangerous and hardened criminals. It was thought to be inescapable... but that didn't stop them from trying. In the 29 years Alcatraz served as a prison, there were 14 escape attempts made by 36 prisoners. Five of them made it out, never to be seen again. Did they drown? Were they eaten alive by man-eating sharks? Or.. did they make it? We'll never know.
In part two, we dive deeper into the Infamous 1962 Escape of Frank Lee Morris and brothers, John and Clarence Anglin. The FBI concluded that the men drowned… but there are many theories about how they could have survived. There might even be evidence!

Identical twins June and Jennifer Gibbons grew up in Wales. The two would become known as "the silent twins" because they didn't speak to anyone but each other .... and when they did, they spoke in a secret language. Teachers, psychologists, psychiatrists and speech therapists all tried their hand with no avail. The girls just wouldn't speak. Bored, isolated, and craving excitement, the twins turned to a life of crime. Eventually, the two were caught and sentenced indefinitely to Broadmoor Mental Hospital. Although they were locked up, the girls felt that their true prison was their silence. The only way to escape it was for one of the twins to die... but who would go first?

The RMS Queen Mary has a history as vast as the sea. It transported celebrities, royalty and others across the Atlantic in luxurious style, and it served as a transport ship for troops in World War II. When its sailing days were over, it was purchased by the City of Long Beach California, where it has sat permanently docked for the last 54 years. Its now a historical landmark, hotel, and haunted attraction. It may be closed due to COVID-19, but many still reside there... they're just not among the living.
