In this week’s show we continue our discussion about many conspiracy theorists and “entertainers” have sprung up all over the AM radio. “The Alex Jones Factor” Part II includes  a conversation with Erick Kurlander, a professor of modern German, European and world history. He addresses the many political movements including Socialism, Facism, Nationalism, Communism, and Populism which are exploited by InfoWars and other Right-Wing outlets to push a Capitalist agenda. We also explore the reassurance of Anti-Semitic conspiracy theories such as “White Genocide” or “Jews will not replace us” which are delusional in their conclusions and assumptions based on racism and xenophobia.

In this week’s show we continue our conversation with Brian Dunning. The host of “Skeptoid: Critical Analysis of Pop Media” he shares about how conspiracy shows are supporting flawed thinking for people who already have preconceived notions about some topics. We call this episode “The Alex Jones Factor” as many similar conspiracy theorists and “entertainers” have sprung up all over the AM radio. One of these programs is “Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis” who in their February 6, 2019 show discussed racist and destructive ideas such as the so called invasion of Muslims and Chinese from Canada and the coming race war pushed by supremacists. We also discuss Mr. Dunning’s confrontation with Joe Rogan after writing a report on how Rogan was part of the "Then Most Wanted: Celebrities who Promote Harmful Pseudoscience" and how these shows will say anything to get ratings being irresponsible and sensationalistic.

In this week's show our topic is the controversy around the new Captain Marvel movie. In recent weeks some comic book fans have felt that Brie Larson's comments were insensitive. We explore if this backlash is well founded or is it just them (who are mostly males ) feeling threatened by a lead woman character with super powers and abilities.

In this week’s show we are honored to have world renowned scholar John Dominic Crossan as our guest again. His books include Jesus: A Revolutionary Biography and The Historical Jesus: The Life of a Mediterranean Jewish Peasant.  In his 2000 book, A Long Way from Tipperary: What a Former Monk Discovered in His Search for the Truth, he discusses what it was like being raised in the traditional Irish Catholic Church. Dr. Crossan shares how he inherited a faith that was "accepted fully and internalized completely but undiscussed, uninvestigated, and uncriticized." During our show John Dominic Crossan explains that this type of mentality permeates the Roman Catholic Church as an institution which is led by some corrupt leaders who commit violence themselves or cover-up the crimes of their subordinates. The culture of secrecy, passivity of the members of this religious group and untouchable status of the clergy allow for this type of perversion to take place. During our discussion we take a look on how this situation keeps being mishandled and how there is no end in site for this type of abuse, reprieve for the perpetrators or justice for the victims.

In this week's show we return to our discussion regarding the Lincoln Memorial event that went viral a month ago. In January 18, Native American activists and Catholic teenagers wearing Trump hats had a confrontation. This incident drew national attention, but what most people don't know is that this situation was prompted by a half dozen Hebrew Israelites agitators. These individuals are part of a group of religious zealots who claim Jewish ancestry but are opposed to mainstream Jews and Euro-Americans. According to "Racist Black Hebrew Israelites Becoming More Militant". Intelligence Report by the Southern Poverty Law Center some BHI are considered black supremacists as they "believe that Jews are devilish impostors and ... openly condemn whites as evil personified, deserving only death or slavery". However according to this report by the SPLC the members of this group who hold these views are a minority as "most Hebrew Israelites are neither explicitly racist nor anti-Semitic and do not advocate violence." The ones involved in this altercation were members of The House of Israel, other groups include Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge, the Nation of Yahweh, the Israelite Church of God in Jesus Christ and 12 Tribes of Israel. These and other groups are considered to promote black supremacy and Anti-Semitism
