  • Episode 30: Eight Of Cups & the Sacrifice of Iphigenia
In this week's show we are talking about the Eight of Cups and the sacrifice of Iphigenia.
The eight of cups represents stagnation, knowing when to bail! Running away from a situation that isn’t working for you, but it is giving you the permission to do so.
The sacrifice of Iphigenia is a story about how the leader of the Greek army, Agamemnon, had to sacrifice his daughter so that the army could set sail to Troy to retrieve Helen.

  • Episode 28: Six Of Cups & Classics in the Modern World
In today’s show we examine the Six of Cups and Classics in the modern world.
We also announced that starting this week we will be doing a Weekly Tarot Forecast, which means that every Monday we will upload a photo of a tarot spread onto the Facebook group and Instagram of the cards that were pulled. This will allow you to cultivate your tarot reading skills and see what the week has in store. We also record a mini session of Rose explaining her interpretation of the spread. This recording is only available to our Patreon supporters (just another reason to support the show for only $1 per episode!) which you can sign up for here, www.patreon.com/mythtarotlove.
Next, Rose explains how to properly ask a question of the tarot, because asking a question in the right way will help in getting a clear answer. Vague questions include, “Will I do this? Or should I do xyz?” The right question is “What will it look like if I choose this?”
Rose then examines the Six of Cups, which is the ultimate nostalgia card; looking back at the past and the lessons that we learned. I is also a card that really highlights the power of stories!
Finally, Bitty looks at Classics in the modern world and how Classics still surrounds us today and most of us don’t realize it. From movies to politics, architecture to condom companies we explore the gambit of classically influenced products and policies.
