Jordan Anthony Burich holds an Anthropology degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is beginning his PhD track this fall at the State University of New York-Buffalo. His focus is on archaeology, mainly an archaeology of religion, ritual, and cultural transmission. He is a dedicated skeptic who will--more often than not--opt for the simplest answer. He also enjoys discussions such as the following. Peter Isely is a founding member and longtime Midwest Director of SNAP, The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, the world’s oldest organization of survivors of childhood rape and sexual assault by clergy, with over 18,000 survivors in hundreds of chapters worldwide. A graduate of Harvard Divinity School, Peter is a psychotherapist in private practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he established the nation’s only inpatient hospital program for victims of clergy sexual trauma. Peter joins us in the studio for a two hour discussion on what SNAP has been doing to help bring justice to the survivors of sexual abuse.

Karen Garst is an atheist and a feminist. She started focusing on her atheism in 2014 when the U. S. Supreme Court issued its decision in Burwell vs. Hobby Lobby. In this decision, the Court decided that the owners of Hobby Lobby, because of their religious beliefs, were not required to provide certain forms of birth control to their female employees under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Karen writes about women's issues and the role religion has and is playing in inhibiting the progress toward full equality. She strongly believes that the time has come for women to be able to openly and freely express their atheist views without shame and ridicule in our society. She has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin Madison.

Phil Zuckerman is a professor of sociology and secular studies at Pitzer College in Claremont, California. He is also a regular affiliated professor at Claremont Graduate University, and he has been a guest professor for two years at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. He is also a Fellow of the Secular Global Institute. Phil joins us on the show and discusses the secular studies program that is offered at Pitzer and the vision behind it. He shares his findings on how and why secular societies can be viewed as more progressive when being compared to religious societies on various topics i.e. women’s rights, LGBT rights, education etc. He takes us through his years of researching many areas of where society and religiosity connect.

Frank R. Zindler is a prominent American atheist who served as interim president of the atheist organization American Atheists in 2008. Zindler has been a biology, psychobiology and geology professor for many years. Zindler is the editor of American Atheist Magazine and Director of American Atheists Press. Frank joins us and discusses his relationship with Madalyn Murray O'Hair and his involvement with the foundation of the American Atheists organization. He also explains how Madalyn first introduced him to the mythicist position and the value that he feels this area of study brings to the atheist movement.

D.M. Murdock, aka Acharya S was an independent scholar of comparative religion and mythology She was classically educated at some of the finest schools, receiving a degree in Classics and Greek Civilization, from Franklin & Marshall College. DM Murdock was also a member of one of the world's most exclusive institutes for the study of Ancient Greek Civilization, the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, Greece. To pay tribute we wanted to reflect on what she meant to others and listen to their stories and experiences with this amazing individual who has passed away on December 25, 2015. To honor her legacy, a panel made up of Aron Ra, David Fitzgerald, Miguel Conner, and Dr. Robert Price along with the Mythicist Milwaukee team, discussed the impact that Acharya’s work and friendship had on their lives.
