Western Region State Association Leadership meet ups are convened every other month of 2023. 

The gang explores the benefits, value and fun stuff of attending NAE4-HYDP Annual Conference. 

Known as "Dr. Dave" on campus and across the country, Dr. David Schramm is an Associate Professor and Family Life Extension Specialist for Utah State University in the department of Human Development and Family Studies. Dr. Dave has been appointed by Governor Herbert to serve on Utah's Commission on Marriage, appears monthly on television's "The Place" and has a Facebook page (DrDaveUSU) where he shares research and tips on helping individuals, parents and couples flourish. 

Dr. Dave joins the team to discuss the management of monkeys, time management, priorities and mindfulness.

Conversation is based on the research of retired Extension Professional, Dr. Jim Rutledge, who asserted that 4-H Professionals move through 4 (four) developmental stages (Service, Educator, Manager and Leader) and includes exploration, insights and survival strategies.

Retired Extension Professional, Dr. Jim Rutledge, asserted that 4-H Professionals move through these developmental stages (Service, Educator, Manager, Leader.)
