What is a red flag really???
To each person its different because our experiences with each person is different and since we cannot control the perspectives of others how can we devise what a red flag is?
Boundaries, boundaries tell us our deal breaker has crossed, you know the thing most triggering to you, like when someone lies to you. Because of childhood trauma this may be a boundary for you or how about when someone tells you how to feel about situations in your life? (this is called gaslighting) and may be a boundary therefore a red flag for you.
Having a good sense of self helps draw a boundary with the people and is a good indication they do not vibrate with the same energy as you do and you should be aware they will cross your boundary again so you should be aware!
If you do not have a good sense of self then and continue with the person you continue to live a reactive life and feel as though you are not being seen and never being heard. All because you neglect to listen to your internal alarm or red flag!
