This was a review of the Movie "No Ordinary Love", 2019 Directed by Chyna Robinson a movie on Domestic Violence and the Church. Religion has had a part in the abuse in women setting expectations of women to full fill a fantasy woman are to be  subservient to men. Creating a codependent dance between men and women where the woman is being gaslit into believing these old norms. 

In the movie No Odinary Love 

Hey there! Have you ever caught yourself automatically agreeing to do something you didn't want to do? or have you ever gotten into a relationship where you were compromising for the other person all the time? How about talking to a misogynistic asshole and you disagreed with everything he said but you just kept nodding your head ignoring your boundaries and just being agreeable? Well this little action is the Art of being fake nice. Ignoring how you feel when you are around these kinds of people instead of leaving the room and saving your peace. 

Its not about "I was being considerate, I didn't want the other person to think I didn't like them". 

Ask yourself the question who was I hurting them or myself? 

When you ignore your own personal boundaries you are ignoring your own needs over you perspective of the other person. Loving yourself enough to stay away from certain energy types is so important to manifesting. When you are around triggers full time you take the spotlight off of yourself and put all your energy towards the thing and then it has control over you. 

In this episode the ladies share examples of these situations and give their perspective on Fake Nice!

Can you imagine when on the internet and looking up diet culture there are over  4 billion websites! Quick fixes! NOMT wants you to know becoming un fat is about your relationship with yourself? asking yourself the questions about your own body, searching online and watching videos which help you understand how the body works, loving yourself so much you refuse to ingest foods which hurt your body and cause inflammation! 

Kitty Rebellion and Mel the Podcaster get together and talk about diet culture and how its so influential at the beginning of the year. How it people believe they are about to start on a journey of getting fit and every year people start and quit within the same month. This is why the memberships are so cheap.  Keeping people codependent on diet pills, shakes, and anything else normally associated with getting un-fat and keeping you stuck on the hamster wheel never satisfied! 

I can absolutely say these beliefs are not true! There are no quick fixes! When I Edith Ivhay Rosenblat started out on my Journey I didn't even know it was a journey yet. I didn't know getting somewhere involved so much knowledge around the food I ate. Mindless eating at 50 is now a thing of the past. I thought the harder I worked out meant the more food I could eat. I was up to well over 2000 calories a day. Now I eat between 11am and 6pm no junk and smaller portions I don't look at calories in calories out but I believe I am speaking my bodies language now,  Also through Meditation which is nothing more than speaking to myself in a softer tone of voice and kind to myself no self hate here and being mindful of my food and my exercise. Whole foods and exercise like yoga and heavy weights I am now speaking the langquage of my 50 year old body!

I Edith have been practicing procrastination my whole life until I realized it was not getting me closer to my goal of reaching out to women and sharing my story of failures and success with woman so they can feel empowered to get out of the situation they are in and finally create their own way to find themselves in. 

I created my reality- a table of four women all in different states having different experiences coming together and having teachable moments and learnable ones too!

This is experience has been mind-blowing I literally made it happen just by believing in myself and just doing it. Not waiting one minute but working on my dream every day a little bit a day when I have the time but doing it and not waiting. 

Procrastination is dangerous because one year turns into two years turns into 20 years and then you have waited to long!

How are you feeling today? Can you make a choice of how you feel? or are you struggling with depression? Does mediation help you? or are you feeling like nothing helps? What is it about how amazing you are are you not seeing? 

Who is with you creating doubt about who you are? Because I want to tell you no one is perfect. No one knows everything. THis is why we are all working so hard to figure things out becuase the idea of someone telling you who you should be is nerve racking, its depressing (Especially) if you believe it. 

Think really hard about being perfect what is it really? Perfection to you might be going one day without symptoms of the illnesses that seem to follow you around. Lets start with just feeling better. Is this your perfection? Do you need another person in your life to heal your body? and if you have another person in your life are they helping you get to your goals or are they helping your depression get worse? Do you see how it is a choice and you can decide things?

Perfection to me was getting everything which was influencing my decisions in a negative way out of my life. Slowly I was eliminating the people who had "Needs" I was not meeting for them. Can you imagine? I am a nurse to a lot of people each day, people who actually need me. Then I would come home and I had a neighbor who needed rides to the store, one who needed his dog walked, a neighbor who needed me because he had health issues and went to the hospital, then a husband who has been separated from me for 7 years and needed to see me on specific days, another neighbor next door who needed to talk about her ex. 

DO you see me doing anything for myself? I made a choice to help these people and not help myself? I want you to know i have gotten rid of all these made up chores I have created for myself and now I only work on me. Largely due to these women speaking today.
