Have you ever been at a family dinner and you take an extra serving of mashed potatoes and grab an extra biscuit or cornbread? Then you sister (or cousin or friend) say to you "Do you really need that? What about the extra calories? the carbs? What are you going to do???

You might have to run an extra mile on the treadmill? Then after dinner because of the extra stress you go deep drag queen bingo on that gluten free cheese cake you skipped because you didn't want to hear from your family about the calories?

We have all been there and it is a first world problem. Why do we food shame each other? Why do we buy into fad diets? Why do we order those metabolism pills on late night TV while we watch reruns of friends then after we order said pills we go and open the refrigerator door and stare into the abyss? Sometimes even forgetting why we went there in the first place?

My naked onion's! its all programming! Our mothers were programmed by there mothers and so on! It took me this long time to realize portions, lower the carbs, stay away from gluten, corn products of any kind and don't eat late night! I also limit my red meat intake to a couple times a month, eat salad every day, take my supplements and I talk to myself differently! When I eat the cheese cake and I eat the dunkin donut I never say "Shame on you"! now your going to have to run an extra hour on the tread mill. No more of that!

SO after all these years I have learned intuitive eating! I love myself no matter what, I do the exercise to I make sure I get in the gym and do my workouts for me not my family or the men/women in my life!

this is the first episode of many to deprogram our listeners and to get them to love their bodies minds and souls for the goddesses they are!

If we are anything here at NOMT we are fair. I did a background check on Marcus Allen and checked the people who recommended him on LinkedIn. I did not do background checks on them though. They were all political affiliations well educated and in politics or served in politics some way. I know, Marcus told me, what he really wanted to do on Tik Tok. He wanted to teach Americans how to date in the Philippines. We have spoken many times and at great length I usually get a sense of when a person means another person harm. I felt nothing like that. I do believe he is a people pleaser and we are made up of the first 5 people we spend time with. The culture is ready to please and Marcus loves the culture and its women. If you know older Pilipino women then you know they do not put up with any shit. Not one ounce of crap, so why is it the younger ones will date an older man? The culture is often poor and I understand women and the need to survive. Marcus himself told the staff that men over there father several times with several woman. Men do not care about pleasing a woman over there and this is why the thought of an older man isn't out of the ordinary. Humble, me thinks not, however I do not hate the idea of one person creating a space of safety for another person. 

Marcus also claims he is asexual or a never nude (you know~ Arrested Development). Which I have done for the last 4+ years in my situation and now that I am free my libido is x10. Another story for another day!

I believe Marcus has changed the tone of his page. I did a live with him the other day and people still are calling him names. I understand, I really understand because he made claims at the start of his tik tok journey and little did he know he was going to trigger a lot of people.

Did you know there are actors on the screen and their are actors who are walking around this world. Think about it, these people perfect the poker face. They can actually look you in the eye and tell you they love you unconditionally and then with perfection their actions can be so  completely different. 

Lies told as truths. I Believe Marcus Allen is a good Actor. He knows what to say and how to say it. He is charismatic and has a lovely demeanor even when challenged. I also believe his feeling do get hurt. When everything went down on tik tok about his pension for young beautiful  woman the internet broke. Why do some love him and others are disgusted. Again it is my belief you have men who resonate with his attraction to women. You also have men and women triggered by his unapologetic way of getting around Morals and Norms. He dances by with his head held high and his clever charismatic way of imposing his perspective on you. 

Yep his way or the highway in a "In the back door" kind of way. He does it so quietly he can almost make you believe his way really is the better way. 

However the Onion cast did a round table and we deliberated without him present. We also took over a week off to just marinate and do our due diligence. 

A background check was done We didn't get much from it all of social media checked out and his affiliation with Harvard was removed from his facebook profile. 

I checked his linked in and he has some very prominate people recommending him, all in the government or contracted by the government. We all know politicians make the best actors. People who fallow a distinct set of rules perfectly are good CEOs. They have the right education the right credentials and know the right people. 

His other group of friends are corporate and if you have ever worked a corporate job and done their education. Its like retraining everything you know and we all know people don't just come to work and "Blammo" the childhood trauma doesn't exist.

His Company website The MAF Group was founded in 1996 and has successfully helped businesses and individuals with overburdened Government regulations, most significantly in tax matters in front of the Board of Equalization and the Franchise Tax Board.

The NOMT podcast has taken the time off to reflect on the past week. I tried to publish and episode yesterday and it just didn't work out I think the universe was trying to tell me not to publish it!

It was the "The Onion Shares Real Life Super Hero's" episode with a preview of the interview with Marcus Allen a tik tok influencer who has more than stirred up tik tok. Women and men were upset. If you do not know who Marcus Allen is put him in the search on google and on tik tok and see what you find. 

We here at the NOMT podcast like to do our due diligence and we pride ourselves on being the friend parent to women they did not have when they were growing up that's why we were waiting on publishing this episode. 

When I say we had so many emotions over it. The cast was very kind in their questioning and patient as well. Marcus had a lot to say there was a 2 minute limit to how long the answers could be and sometimes they went as long as 10m until I intervened. 

I learned so much from this encounter and am still learning from this situation as my inbox is overloaded with friends sending me information and Marcus sending me support videos from women. 

So This coming Monday September 5, 2022 we will sit down to record and give our opinions on the matter. The episode will be available on Wends the 7thI and the cast express our sincere gratitude and can't wait to be back on track working on more important things like abolishing codependency or the latest workout craze or the newest flavor of health ice cream!

Staying ahead of the problem your journey, in my opinion, has started. Once you start asking yourself the question and you problem solve within yourself to stay ahead of the problem, you start having less problems. 

When you walk the dog you help him with these things anxiety, depression, aggression to some their dogs have all these things and they maybe will take him to the vet. These are the dogs jumping fences, running off, and biting children. Staying ahead of this problem is easy, but to some because of laziness and procrastination they have the aggressive or so called misbehaved dog. 

How about your car? if you don't want it to break down over time you can get regular oil changes. Do you have trouble sleeping? one way to stay ahead of that problem is to exercise, drink water, eat clean meats and vegetables, and take magnesium all of this sounds easy enough but throw in the vices and you get procrastination. 

You love soda and find it hard to stick to any diet, you smoke cigarettes so the idea of exercise is offensive, you have a dog but work 12 hour days to pay the mortgage and you are exhausted. So many variables play into changing the patterns of how we live. 

However if you just put the action into "Getting ahead of the problem" your life will open right up!
