just a little story--sewn together--piece by piece. touch by touch
This is a song I wrote for my dad on his birthday. In a way it is an extension of my "Daddy" poem, which you can also find in a prior episode. The bottom line is that I believe everything can be brought back to poetry. If you choose to see life in this way--that's when life truly becomes so colorful. I named it lavender for a few reasons but the main one is it is my dad's favorite color. And for reasons I cannot explain I know why. I hope hearing this song reminds you of someone you love. I hope this song brings you back-- either to yourself, to a hopeful future, or a pivotal moment in your life.
Blue IS oddly other worldly, isn't it?This poem is about self-sabotage mostly. Imagine with me-- the journey that gets you to stop it before it happens. I encourage you to figure out what your Angel says. How she saves you from time to time. Here's a hint: She's you! You have to be your own angel sometimes.
This piece has two parts. Part one being a direct answer to someone I was interested in asking me "How Will You Be?" Part two is a direct response to me figuring out who they truly were--a dangerously covert narcissist who I found out was guilty of things unimaginable. I did not know what to do with the feelings so I turned some of them into art that you can listen to--and hopefully may help you.
Be sure to leave me a Voicemail message so I can get back to you. Thanks so much for listening.

Earlier today, someone asked me "How's Life?"... this is what I wish I could have said. Needless to say I'm breaking patterns over here. Don't be ashamed,
speak. Smile. Express yourself. Seek to understand. Leave me a Voicemail with any questions, I'll call you right back.
When was the last time someone made you feel seen? Leave me a VM.
