Day 1 was bad for Pandvas. Kauravas army in chief Bheesm proved too powerful for Pandavas. Day 2 saw a very fierce battle between Bheesm and Arjun and Drona and Drishtduman. Bheem comes to rescue of Dristhduman and has to fight Kalinraj , his son and their chariot army. Even Namketu surrounded Bheem with his elephant army.

कल पांडवों का बहुत नुकसान हुआ था । आज का दिन कौरवों के लिए बुरा रहा। आज अर्जुन और भीम ने अपनी शक्ति की अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया हालांकि भीस्म को हराना अर्जुन के लिए मुश्किल था।

Day one of Kurushetra war started. Yudhishithir went and sought permission and blessings from his elders in Kauravas side to start the fight. He was given permission and blessings. Arjun was very pained to fight his own people and Krishna preached him Gita, one of the Most sacred literature where Krishna advises Arjun to do his duty without any emotions and without worrying about outcome.

महाभारत की कहानी से हमे यही सीखने मिलता है कि युद्ध मे सिर्फ विनाश होता है। एक मनुष्य दूसरे मनुष्य को अर्थहीन मारता चला जाता है। पर फिर भी युद्ध को कर्तव्य समझकर किया जाता है। युद्ध के मैदान मे पहुच कर सामने सभी परिचित चेहरों को देखकर अर्जुन युद्ध न करने की बात कहता है। वे अपनों को मरने के पाप से बचना चाहते हैं। पर श्री कृष्ण उन्हे अपना कर्तव्य करने का उपदेश देते हैं। यही गीत का उपदेश है जो कृष्ण अर्जुन को युद्ध भूमि पर देते हैं।

Mahabharat story getting very interesting. Kauravas have selected Bheesm as their Commander in chief for their army. Bheesm after much thought agrees for it. He selected commanders under him for various divisions but ignores Karn. Karn is very offended and announces that he would join the battlefield only after Bheesm has fallen which he did.

Krishna helps in making rules for the war.

अपनों से युद्ध करना और उन्हे मारना बड़ा मुश्किल काम था। दोनों भाई एक ही वंश के दीपक, आपस मे लड़ने वाले थे। बहुत ही रोचक कहानी। अगर आपने न पढ़ी हो तो जरूर सुने।

Story of Karn is most impressive. He was blessed with tremendous capabilities but still had to go through so many insults in life.

महाभारत की कहानियो मे कर्ण एक ऐसे पत्र है जो आपकी सारी सहानुभूति को जीत लेते हैं। सूर्य पुत्र होकर , क्षत्रिय कुल के होकर भी सुतपुत्र बनकर पले बढ़े कर्ण। बेहद शूरवीर और बेहद दानवीर। उनका चरित्र बहुत आदरणीय है।

No one was happy with war except Duryo dhan and Draupadi. Duryodhan because he was sure that he would win the war with such a huge army and so many powerful warriors! He was waiting to destroy Pandavas. Draupadi wanted war because she wanted her revenge - revenge for being treated so awfully. Then war happens.

युद्ध बहुत बड़ी बात है। इसमे किसी का भला नहीं होता। यह तो विनाश का मंत्र है। पर फिर भी कभी कभी यह जरूरी हो जाता है। पांडवों के लिए भी युद्ध जरूरी हो गया क्योंकि दुर्योधन ने उन्हे सुई की नोक जितनी जमीन देने से भी इनकार कर दिया। फिर वे कहाँ रहते? दूसरों की महर्बानी पर जिंदगी भर तो नहीं रह सकते थे
