Nargles and other Nonsense episodes

  • 113: HufflePuffPuff
This week the hags are talking about the Dursleys! We wanna know what really happened between Petunia and Lily, what's going on between Aunt Marge and her neighbor, and the many nicknames of Ickle-Diddykins. Somehow, we segue into different Hogwarts houses and then things spiral out of control. As always!
    Thanks for listening. Always.
*The hags would like to say that we know the seriousness of how the Dursley's treated Harry and we don't want to joke about it or condone it. We try to keep this podcast lighthearted and fun, but at the same time understand the seriousness of child abuse. We're sending you all love and hope you can have some laughs

  • 112: Tom the Innkeeper
Full disclosure: this episode has little to do with Tom the Innkeeper. Stick around until the end to hear about that. Mostly, we talk about wands! Wands! Who wants them? Who needs them? Wizards, we guess! But if it’s a conduit for magic do we need them? Honestly, who knows. We talk about wand woods, sizes, wand makers, Celtic trees, how we get when we’re cranky, and we talk about our visit to the town of Salem, naturally. Sorry for the crunching at the beginning!

  • 110: Roonil Wazlib
If you see Harry Potter, tell him the Hags of Hogsmeade have some questions. Like, why didn’t he and Ron just wait for Mr. and Mrs. Weasley to come back from Platform 3/4's in Chamber of Secrets??? Why did they just steal the flying car?? They could have sent an owl! Why did Harry practice spells the Half-Blood Prince made-up, with no idea what they would do??? Harry? Are you okay? And if no one will ask these questions, we certainly will, in this week's episode.
    Thanks for listening. Always.

And tell us the secret word, you cowards!
