The Nashville Predators couldn't get a win over the St. Louis Blues last night. It was a game in which the Preds struggled to finish offensively and failed to capitalize on four power play chances against one of the worst penalty kills in the league. The less-than-entertaining performance against the Blues and the news of Eeli Tolvanen being claimed off waivers yesterday by the Seattle Kraken has reinvigorated a hornet's nest with fans on social media. We take a look at the fan reaction to the Tolvanen news and have a frank conversation about the surge of frustration and scorn many fans are expressing about the team. We talk through the validity of many of the concerns expressed but also have a very frank discussion about the toxicity brewing. It may be too late to stop the run on pitchforks and torches in Nashville, but we try to be a voice of reason as the Preds prepare to face a very tough challenge tonight against the Edmonton Oilers.
