The Nashville Predators prospects were hard at work last week at Rookie Camp and this weekend their talent was on display at the NHL Prospect Showcase in Raleigh, NC. On today's Locked On Predators, we take a look at the two prospect games the rookies have played so far and what we can expect to see in today's match up with the Florida Panthers rookie team. One prospect who generated a lot of talk last preseason is Russian forward Egor Afanasyev. Afanasyev has had a standout performance at the tournament so far logging three goals in two games. We'll tell you what aspect of his game he has been working hard on to catch the eye of the coaching staff again this preseason. One Preds prospect that everyone is talking about is goaltending sensation Yaroslav Askarov. In his game against the Tampa Bay Lightning prospect, Askarov put on a net minding clinic. Just how high is this first round draft pick's ceiling? There is one prospect we haven't been talking much about - until now.
