Last night the NHL hosted their 2021-2022 NHL Awards show where the winners of the major awards were announced. On today's episode, Nick and Ann break down (almost literally) what happened last night. How do we feel about Roman Josi coming in second to Cale Makar in the Norris Trophy voting? What is the ONE THING we absolutely cannot make sense of when it comes to the Norris ballots? We talk about Juuse Saros' third place finish in the Vezina voting and if we think voters got the award for best goaltender right. Roman Josi was also nominate for the Ted Lindsay Award, but fell short to Auston Matthews. We'll tell you why we think both Josi and Connor McDavid were overlooked. Nashville had some noteworthy votes for the Calder Trophy, and one was a bit of a surprise. Finally, we have a frank discussion about the NHL Awards show overall.
