The Industrial revolution can be referred to as a rapid growth and changes in agriculture, manufacturing, mining, transport and communication that had began in Britain and spread throughout Europe and America in the 18th C and 19th C and eventually at the whole world.

The major causes for Industrial revolution in the second half of 19th in Europe include: the growth of English trade, improvement in transport and communication, the role of mechanical inventions, the influence of financial institutions and banking systems, the influence of economic theories, cottage industries, political stability of the countries, availability of resources, the role of scientific revolution, enough skilled and unskilled labourers and the iron/still industries.
