6.3.20 - Day 1/13 of the White Worldbridger wavespell * Crystal Moon 5

There is more commentary on what is evolving in the world right now than could fit into the 30-minute thought piece of this current episode. I could be online every day delineating the Mayan astrological aspects of the massive movement for justice and real change. However, the voice of the protest itself is more present and important. I hope that any insight the Tzolkin or 13 Moon year's patterning brings just inspires another layer of understanding that gives you strength, relief from despair and anxiety, and focus on each day as it unfolds without getting lost in the overwhelm of our big-picture traumas.

5.31.20 - Day 11/13 of the Red Skywalker wavespell * Crystal Moon 2

The Crystal Moon has begun with obvious indications of people coming together collectively - in crowds, en masse - and out of the isolation of our pandemic's lockdown. We are seeking a resolution of the year's wavespell in this next 28 days, wanting to share our story with others and to hear of their parallel experiences to reinforce that while we all have individuated quests in a wavespell, we are not alone in the process of seeking and growing. The Red Skywalker wavespell is waning, but is still a perfect set up for the approaching White Worldbridger time. Launched into the sky, far from earth, in the Red Skywalker impulse, we are situated close to the bridge between worlds: our atmospheric earth and the cosmos, our incarnation and the afterlife. Feel the fluidity between these analog (support) wavespells as one closes and another opens.

5.28.20 - Day 8/13 of the Red Skywalker wavespell * Spectral Moon 27

The end of the Spectral Moon is imminent. By now you have evidence of things falling apart around and within you. The next stage, the Crystal Moon, is a stretch of settling and resolving all that has been stirred into disarray. It should feel soothing, as our year's trajectory of growth and challenge comes to its denouement. The Red Skywalker wavespell has the shadow energy of addiction and so if you're struggling with illogical appetites and escapist inclinations, you're right on time. Have benevolent thoughts toward the hardcore drug addicts in your life wrestling with relapse yearnings, and also see yourself somewhere in that spectrum, called backward into old avenues of getting lost, getting out, getting high.

5.20.20 - Day 13/13 of the Yellow Sun wavespell * Spectral Moon 19

The Yellow Sun wavespell ends with us embodying Yellow Cosmic Human - being a human who is one with the cosmos, with all, not separate, entitled, exceptional. Theoretically we are able to enter this luminescent state of light because of our sojourn with the sun god these last 13 days. Also, we continue the end-over-end fall to earth in the Spectral Moon. By this time I believe we are all acclimated to not being in control, have capitulated to the demand for total surrender, and are even tired of that disorientation, half rocked to sleep and half motion sick. The Red Skywalker wavespell that starts tomorrow brings more of the same, so hold on while you let go.

This episode has a long storytelling about a Hollywood couple - Marc Maron and Lynn Shelton. It's my way of processing the confluence of grief, empathy and Mayan insight. You may not actually know - or care - about who these people are (honestly, they're both super talented, multi-dimensional creative artists striving to evolve and express their soulful talents) but I hope the tale reveals the hidden, potent mysticism that takes over the life of anyone following these cycles, including how we perceive the events that happen to others around us. Even semi-famous celebrities who aren't actually in our lives at all. It's all related to Yellow Sun and the Spectral Moon, our present-time astrological transits.

It seems to me that the Spectral Moon demands a certain amount of unfocused falling apart. I hope to reassure you if you're having a version of this that it's timely and beyond your control. To be embraced. To be endured. We're heading into the Blue Western week of the Spectral Moon when things become additionally chaotic and intense.

I didn't get into the next arc of daily astrology in the podcast - more discussion on the Spectral Moon and Yellow Sun wavespell generally - because the first stages of a wavespell do seem to dominate with the generalities of the tribe it represents. But you can keep an eye on Monday, May 11, as a rare Blue Night portal. Portal days are more rare here on the outer columns of the Tzolkin, and therein an opportunity to be reminded of the power of a portal passage - how it becomes a doorway and a moment of denser, intensified energy.

More on the Spectral tone, since we're in the first week of the Spectral Moon. Compared with the last podcast, this presents the upside of Spectral energy - a liberation and release, a diminishing of control and egoic intent. Which most of us are already fully invested in courtesy of Coronavirus lockdown. Also a reminder of today's White Mirror tribe - the foundational choice point for why I favor Natural Time most prominently in my array of spiritual disciplines. Where else is a day of sacrifice - loss, release and a corresponding closeness to the divine world - the pivotal moment in our transformation? Or rather, where else is it plainly named, lauded? Day 18 of 20, every cycle.
