Over the years, many witnesses came forward and potential suspects emerged, including a man with a criminal history of assaults on women. Despite renewed interest in 2019, technological advancements yielded no breakthroughs. Leah's children, now adults, advocate for justice, keeping their mother's memory alive. Law enforcement is seeking information, offering a $50,000 reward.

Marquis went missing in February 2020, leading to a ransom text demanding money for his return. A month later Marquis was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head.
