On November 29, 2020, Tchicaya Marie Williams became a victim of a shooting inside her mother's home in Clovis, New Mexico. Investigators marked the case as inactive less than 6 months after the shooting, even after family members handed over viable leads to law enforcement.

Family is still seeking justice.

The Connecticut River Valley Killer terrorized multiple states in the 1980s, including New Hampshire. Women would be taken without any witnesses, murdered and dumped in nearby remote locations. Authorities linked seven murders together based on the killer’s MO. He would stab the women to death, mainly in the neck and leave them somewhat close to each other. Police had very few leads until one woman survived his brutal attack. It has been over 40 years and this killer is still unknown.
