James closes his epistle, and we close our study, with just a little glimpse at the heart of God in reconciling men unto Himself. And God has condescended to use His people as His instruments in bringing about this reconcilitation. - Pastor Kevin

As we draw near to the close of this great epistle, James reminds us not only of the necessity of prayer in the life of a believer, but the power of prayer for the believer who lives consistently with the righteousness imputed to him or her by God through Christ. A Christian that doesn't pray is like a body that doesn't breathe. - Pastor Kevin

The Lord of Hosts is at the very doors, ready to bring justice and blessing. So, as His people, let us live in patient endurance, always telling the truth as we rely on His power to help us. - Pastor Kevin

James, in his condemnation of rich oppressors, uses the title "Lord of Sabaoth" to describe the God of justice that stands in the gap between His people and His enemies. We learn from these few verses that we must use our money wisely, to the glory of God, and rest in the security He gives to the believer in Christ, no matter what may come. - Pastor Kevin
