Nerd Escape experiences the displacing Image Comics title Prism Stalker from creator (writer and artist) Sloane Leong, letterer Ariana Maher, and logo designer Darius Ou. Prism Stalker is a unique sci-fi fantasy story that is told through new and unfamiliar ideas about culture displacement and a psychedelic kalidescope of art work and colors, yet this description of Prism Stalker is only just scratching the surface of the theme of the story. Your host Jublar and Cami walk you through the strange and exotic world of Prism Stalker where a space refugee character named Vep is recruited by a military academy named The Chorus to help colonize and combat the newly discovered telekinetic planet of Eriatarka. This planet uses its ecology and pneuma energy source to fight back The Chorus invading colonizers, and Vep and the other recruits train in physical and mental combat utilizing the pneuma energy as well. With the character Vep struggling through Chorus training, culture displacement, and an identity crisis Nerd Escape hosts ask themselves if they have experience culture displacement in their own lives, and if they could handle the rigorous training and pressure that Vep is experiencing at the Chorus Academy.

Nerd Escape explores the Image comic book title The New World from writer Ales Kot, artist Tradd Moore, colorist Heather Moore, letterer Clayton Cowles, and designer Tom Muller. The New World is a dystopian post-life nuclear war setting that leaves the New California territory as a police state where the cops are huge TV celebrities that kill or capture alive their warrant arrest perpetrators based on how citizens vote by watching on television. The art work and story telling gives ground to a colorful and intricate love story between a highly ranked LAPD prime time TV cop (Stella Maris) and a local straight edge white hat guerrilla system hacker (Kirby). Nerd Escape hosts Jublar and Cami ask the question, "Do opposite attract and do they work out?".

Nerd Escape talks about Jublar's favorite comic book running today, the Image title Deadly Class. Writer Rick Remender, artist Wes Craig, colorists Lee Loughridge and Jordan Boyd, and letterer Rus Wooton bring a unique aesthetic to violence, growing up, and attending high school at Kings Dominion school of the deadly arts where crime syndicates send their children to train to become deadly assassins. Your host Jublar and Cami discuss the retro-violent environment of the 1980s, character ambiguity, and the culture rich dialogue presented in Deadly Class. THIS COMIC BOOK RULES!

Cami and Jublar discuss the Image comic book title Little Bird from writer Darcy Van Poelgeest, artist by Ian Bertram, and colorist Matt Hollingsworth. The world of Little Bird is a dystopian future where a high-tech and corrupt all ruling Theocracy rules over all of America. Although, there is still a Northern Canadian resistance in the Rocky Mountains that is lead by such characters as Tantoo, Little Bird, and The Axe. Nerd Escape discusses the setting, characters, and the ideas that Little Bird presents on religion and death.
Nerd Escape discusses the comic book story title Skyward volumes 1-3 from Image Comic. This comic was created by writer Joe Henderson and artist Lee Garbett, and they created a modern civilized world that is inflicted by a catastrophic event known as G-day where Earth's gravity suddenly becomes a fraction of what it use to be. Nerd Escape hosts Cami and Jublar discuss setting and characters, and they have a thorough unnecessary educational information on the concept of gravity itself. Could you survive low G earth life? What would you do in a low G world? These are a few of the question your host ponder on.
Sea of Stars is a fresh comic book from Images comics authors Jason Aaron + Dennis "Hopeless" Hallum and artists Stephen Green + Enrico Renzi. Your Nerd Escape hosts Cami and Jublar talk about the vacuum adventure setting of physical and mental space between father (Gil Starx) and son (Kaydn Starx) in this outer world comic book. Jublar gives an Unnecessary Educational Information lecture on the elementary matter particle know as "Quarks". Cami and Jublar discuss overall what they enjoyed most about Sea of Stars and where would they rather have a treacherous adventure in the ocean or in outer space.

Nerd Escape discusses the comic book Bitter Root from Image comics. Bitter Root is a historical fiction/action/horror comic set in the Harlem Renaissance era in the year 1924. The story follows the Sangerye family as they combat and purify demons or "Jinoo" that were once human.
