On Nerdtastic News, Black developers speak out on stereotypes in video games.   The Black Owned Business of the Week is Stacy Brown (@slb79), an awesome writer who needs assistance with tuition and travel expenses to the inaugural Thread program at Yale.  

This week is all about Daredevil tv series on Netflix aka #AllDayLongABlindManGotHisFootUpYoAss.  We go over environment, casting, storylines, themes, lips, and stunt double butts.

On Nerdtastic News, a 7-year old wins $16k for her comic book, The Adventures of Moxie Girl.  Twitterworking on everything but improving their harassment policy and reporting.  We mention new trailers forFantastic 4, Jurassic World, Batman vs. Superman and Star Wars Force Awakens.    The Black Owned Business of the Week is the Indiegogo campaign for The Book of Mojo Animated Pilot; fantasy story about young black girl who stumbles upon a powerful magical artifact. 

This week we discussed the controversy around the Hugo Awards nominations.   The nominations were over-taken by the fan slate campaign orchestrated by Sad Puppies group.  Many writers, such as Philip Sandifer,John Scalzi, and George RR Martin, give their opinion on the situation.

On Nerdtastic News, Wonder Woman movie loses director, Michelle MacLaren and this doesn't bode well for the project.  We have two Black Owned Businesses of the Week. The first is an Indiegogo campaign for Paralysis movie; a horror film with a Black Woman protagonist who's experiencing very weird possibly supernatual events. The other is Kickstarter campaign for De La Soul's new album.   

This week we welcome guests, Tanya D. (@cypheroftyr) and Bianca Anderson(@biancajand).  They talk about their experience in the [A]List Daily interview. Bianca told a great story on how interview series came to be.   We discuss gender and racial identity in video games and gaming community, shirtless guys in comic books tv shows and decided a game about stealing the pants of patriarchy is greatly needed.
