Happy Thursday! This week we talk about a lot of video games. We discuss the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the gameplay video that was released. We get into the new Niantic mobile device game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. We also talk about the Steam Sale that just started. We also take a look at one of the new TV trailers for Spiderman: Far From Home. We finish the show up with something we've been wanting to talk about for quite a while, traumatic childhood movies.
This week we talk about some of the game announcements that came out of E3. We discuss the preview we saw for a new Science Channel show, "Savage Builds." We discuss some of the sequel disappointments at the box office this summer. We talk again about TV shows and falling behind again with even more coming out. We also have our usual digressions that take us places we don't expect.
With E3 starting up and all the announcements the weekend before the conference we spend a good chunk of the show talking about everything we've heard so far. We also discuss some news items that have come up, along with some movie and TV stories.
This week, as always, we talk about a lot of things. We discuss the rumors about some upcoming movies, as well as E3 and what we might see revealed. We also talk about the trailers for a couple of movies, Rambo: Last Blood, and Terminator: Dark Fate. We also talk about the plethora of television shows and the difficulties of trying to keep up on all of them as more quality shows keep being produced.
We're back!! After a one week break we are back to talk nerdy to you again. The name of the episode says it all. We talk Avengers: Endgame and the series finale of Game of Thrones. So much to talk about, we run on a bit for Endgame, so with limited time we discuss what we can and rush through the final Throne Watch, kind of like the final season itself.
This week we get discuss some of the latest information coming out of the DCEU. We continue to talk about the box office juggernaut that is Avengers: Endgame. We also run through the list of network shows that have been cancelled or renewed. We finish up the way we have been for the last few weeks with the latest episode of Throne Watch.
This week we talk quite a bit about the MCU, including the box office record setting pace of Avengers: Endgame, rumors of stars being targeted for upcoming MCU movies, and some of the future road map that has been released. We mention the continuing delays of The New Mutants movie. We then finish things off with the next edition of Throne Watch, and a review of the days following the "Great War" in the north.
This week we are joined by another special guest, Ian McClelland. Ian makes mead and cider for a living and is also an artist, musician, songwriter and LARPer. We spend a little time talking about some old MMORPGs we liked including some you can still play. We give our initial spoiler free reviews of Avengers: Endgame, as well as discuss it's amazing success at the box office. We get Ian to tell us about LARPing and he even plays us a song he wrote for the game. We finish the episode off with Throne Watch for the third episode of season eight. We go a little long but we think it is worth it.
This is the week we've been waiting for, the theatrical release of Avengers: Endgame. That said there isn't much else going on in the nerd news world. Seems nothing wants to try and compete for space with this juggernaut of a movie. We do find things to talk about though. We discuss the upcoming movie and talk about our favorite MCU movies from the past eleven years. We debate the correct length of time to wait before posting or talking spoilers for movies and TV shows. We finish the show with another installment of Throne Watch, where we dissect the second episode of GoT season 8.
This week we welcome a couple of special guests, Anthony and John, who are developing a video game called Kard Fu. We discuss that, along with Star Wars news, and Critical Role's stupendously successful Kickstarter. We also have the first installment of Throne Watch for you this week. There is also a ton of nerding out in all of the digressions from our original topics. This was a really fun episode where we just couldn't stop talking.
