We dive into the rising popularity of watching shows where other people are playing paper and pencil games, like D&D. We give you a list of people providing voices for the new Netflix show, Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. We wrap the show up by talking about some of our favorite holiday movies.

This week we do a review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (Spoilers!). We talk about the trailer for the upcoming movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. We get into some video game discussion, both old and upcoming games, and the importance of good DLC. We round out the show with a listing of the top 10 DC Comics Supervillains of all time.

This week the guys take on a list of the 10 Greatest Marvel Supervillains of All Time that they found on Newsarama. They talk about the passing of former president George H.W. Bush. They discuss the upcoming Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event. They also geek out over the new Captain Marvel trailer. All this plus the usual alcohol induced random thoughts they deliver every week.

We welcome Russ back to the basement after his two week hiatus. We catch up on what he was up to, as well as his thoughts on the death of Stan Lee. We cover the asinine comments made by Bill Maher regarding Stan Lee passing and people's reactions. We talk about how it looks like Disney is going to own the box office in 2019 with the huge number of big movies they have coming out next year. We wrap it up discussing a new D&D character class created by a company for marketing.

This week the world lost a legend. The great Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95 this week. We discuss Stan, his life, and his influence on the nerd world. We also talk about movies, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Deadpool 2: Once Upon A Deadpool, among other movies coming out soon. We touch on the lawsuit brought on Netflix by the Satanic Temple. It's been two years since we started this silly podcast. We briefly talk about some of our favorite times from the last couple of years. We also discuss the movie Destination Wedding that Russ just recently watched. We get into the amazing opening weekend for Red Dead Redemption 2, and the replay-ability of video games. The new Doctor is a topic of discussion this week. We discuss the first episode, initial thoughts on Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor, and the hopes for the upcoming season. We talk about a list we found on the Nerdist site that might just help you fill out your Halloween playlist. We dissect the Titans premier on DC Universe streaming service. And we finish the night off by pitting 80's movies against each other in a bracket to determine the ultimate winner.

This week Russ is still fighting a cough but he made it through. We review NYCC this time. We also get into some movie discussion; new Hellboy, James Gunn news, and Venom's opening weekend. We talk TV; Star Trek: Discovery, Good Omens, syndicated shows, and some news from Amazon. We review the first issue of DC's new comic series, Heroes In Crisis. We also get into some discussion about internet shows and how some, like Critical Role, are doing so well that they are spawning other shows.
