This week we get into a discussion about remakes, reboots, and reimaginings of movies and how there are a lot of people against doing this. We also talk about a strongly rumored remake which is supposed to be in the early stages of being made. We also talk sequels, a movie coming back to the theaters after 35 years, Blu-ray releases, Star Trek Discovery. We also take a few minutes to talk about how the "king" is dead, or at least seriously de-throned.

After a week of fighting the flu we were finally able to get together and talk. This week we discuss upcoming, for 2018, nerdy TV shows. We also get into the big engagement news from the X-Men comics. We talk a little bit about the X-Box One since Chris just got one. And then we try to end the show with a little humor. Don't get the flu, it sucks.

This week we go gold. We talk about the Golden Globe awards that just took place. We also discuss the movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle, that came out last year and recently on Blu-ray and DVD. We get into some of the Flashpoint Batman comics as well as some others. We've discussed the ages of comic characters before and this week we discuss one time that there was a definitive age given to a character, Jean Grey, by putting a birth and death year on her tombstone after the Dark Phoenix saga concluded.

Welcome to 2018! This week we ring in the new year having some trouble staying on topic. The digressions are frequent this week. We talk about movies, specifically Atomic Blonde, and less specifically about the list of the "best" movies of 2017. We discuss new year's resolutions vs goals. The main topic is Star Wars: The Last Jedi and our spoiler filled review. We jump around quite a bit, but inside the chaos are some good points.

This week we say goodbye to 2017 by discussing a bunch of nerdy topics. We talk about video games, upcoming comic book milestones, the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D show, and the Netflix movie Bright, including discussing some of the implications of having magical/mythical creatures living in the modern world would be. To wrap up the holiday season we also talk a little bit about our favorite holiday movies. We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe new year. Slainte!!

May the force be with you. Episode VIII - The Last Jedi comes out this week so we figured we would talk about one of our favorite subjects; Star Wars. Of course that's not all we talk about. We also talk about the new Jessica Jones trailer that Netflix released, as well as the new trailer for Ready Player One. Plus alcohol, plus shenanigans, all equals a good time.

We said we weren't going to talk about Star Wars this week, which means we talk about Star Wars. But that's not all. We talk about the Fox/Disney deal that appears to be back on. We talk about things coming to Netflix soon, like the movie "Bright" and the cyberpunk-esque series "Altered Carbon". We also take a little time to discuss the first look at the upcoming Dark Phoenix movie. All this plus the abnormal antics you expect, and of course, alcohol.

This week we talk about Justice League (SPOILERS!). We also talk about the Avengers: Infinity War trailer that dropped this week. Even though we don't like talking about government/politics, we had to touch on the net neutrality issues going on. Pour a drink and settle in to listen and enjoy this week's show. Slainte!
