Nerds With Alcohol Show

We hope everyone is enjoying the start to their summer. This week we talk about upcoming comic book nuptuals. Chris gives his first impressions of Solo: A Star Wars Story. We unfortunately needed to touch on more of the crazy events going on in US politics. We finish the show out by talking about some of our favorite teen comedies.

Lots of things to talk about in the news this week. President Trump announcing Space Force. More Hollywood accusations, this time aimed at Chris Hardwick. The World Health Organization saying Video Game Addiction is a real mental illness. We also focus in on some other, more fun, topics. Our friends at B Nektar had a big announcement last week. Incredibles 2 had a fantastic opening weekend. Our latest super powered match up. All this plus the usual sidetrack topics and, of course, alcohol.

Lots of stuff to talk about this week. We cover some of the announcements that have come out of E3. We discuss the end of Net Neutrality and what it could potentially mean. We talk about Deadpool 2 (SPOILERS!!). We also chat about Geoff Johns stepping down as CCO of DCE. We wrap things up by establishing the rules for our next super powered match up.

There is a lot to cover this week. We discuss a lot of different things this week and still don't get to everything we wanted. We talk about the new Freeform show Cloak and Dagger, the upcoming DC Universe streaming service and the original shows they have announced. We talk about a couple of movies that have been announced that may leave you wondering, "do we really need this?" We discuss the big NASA news from Mars. Plus so much more as our conversation wanders with a life of its own.

This week has us back in the basement together after Chris' trip to Ireland. He talks about the trip, and some of the wonderful drinks he had along the way. Russ talks about the Motor City Comic Con and his experiences there. There are some first impressions of Deadpool 2. A discussion is had about ABC's decision to cancel Rosanne after saying it was renewed. At the end we get into a debate about who created the best universe.

We've waited long enough. This week we finally talk exclusively about Avengers Infinity War. There are many spoilers as we spend the entire show talking about what we liked, and even a little about things we didn't. Did we mention there are spoilers on this episode?

This week we say goodbye to Lois Lane, after learning of the passing of Margot Kidder. We also talk a lot about the network announcements on what shows have been renewed and which didn't make the cut. We also briefly discuss some of the reported drama from the set of the popular show Lethal Weapon.

As we wait one more week before really talking about Avengers: Infinity War, we put together our own Avengers teams this week. Not to compete with each other, or even Thanos, but just who we think our personal favorite team would be. We also talk about the news that there will be a third Bill and Ted movie with the original guys. We mention the Netflix movie Bright and its sequel. We discuss the newer DC animated movie, Gotham By Gaslight, and what we thought of it.

We are still recovering from seeing Avengers: Infinity War last weekend. We give you our first thoughts on it this week, plus talk about how they've done a huge Hulk smash of all opening weekend records. We als talk about a few video games we've been playing. Then we wrap everything up by deciding what to do for our next super powered showdown.

This week we talk a little bit about the upcoming Marvel movie Avengers: Infinity War. We get into how much some of the heroes in the Mavel Universe would pay for their NYC places in today's market. We discuss the arrest of Smallville actress Allison Mack. Russ gives his thoughts about the end of Fallout 4. And then we finish things up with our Super Villain Showdown.
