The novel explores themes of identity, freedom, and the human condition, questioning whether a utopia governed by technology can truly satisfy the complexities of human desires. With its vivid world-building and dark humor, Steel Beach is a thought-provoking exploration of what it means to be human in a post-scarcity society.
