The Celtics led for the entire first half as Jayson Tatum got off to a hot start and Robert Williams III started off on an iconic performance with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 blocks as he neared a triple double. Marcus Smart contributed 17 points and Boston held the Nets without a three-pointer into the third quarter. The Celtics stuck around within one or a few possessions until Williams aggravated his turf toe late, heading to the bench while Tristan Thompson's unit yielded two Kyrie Irving jumpers and a devastating Kevin Durant steal-and-dunk that created a 10-point lead that Brooklyn built up to 11 to wrap a commanding second half. Did the Celtics miss their only chance to steal a game, or is this series bound to remain competitive?
