Today, The Two Mikes had a great conversation with the Civil War historian Steven Cowie about his new book, "When Hell Came to Sharpsburg: The Battle of Antietam and its Impact on the Civilians Who Called it Home", which was published in July, 2022.

Mr. Cowie explained that there have been many fine histories of the battle of Antietam (September, 1862), but that the civilians of Sharpsburg, MD, and other civilians living nearby the Antietam battlefield, have been left without any detailed examination of the battle's impact on them.

The battle ruined crops just before the harvest and so left the farmers without a crop to market. Likewise, their fields were left covered with thousands of dead men and large numbers of dead horses. After Lee's Army Northern of Northern Virginia retreated, the Army of the Potomac buried the dead and some of the dead horses in quickly drug trenches on the battlefield, thereby leaving the fields unfit for the next spring's planting.

In addition, the underground ground-water system of the area around the battlefield and Sharpsburg was found to move water across the area and the contaminants coming from the decaying dead bodies and animals were moved throughout the area and more of it problematic for agriculture. Finally, the 75,000 men, 20,000 army animals, and large herds of cattle belonging to the Army of the Potomac remained encamped on the fields of Sharpsburg for six weeks following the battle, and thereby contributed enormous amounts of human and animal waste to the already existing disaster for the area's groundwater and agricultural grounds.

After the war, families in the Sharpsburg area petitioned the U.S. Congress for compensation for the damage done by the Army of the Potomac. A few families received some compensation, others received something of the run around.

Mr. Cowie's book is unique and uniquely interesting; it is the product of 15 years of research and 3 years of writing. Mr. Cowie has again proved that there always is something new and important to say about the U.S. Civil War.

Today The Two Mikes briefly spoke with Trump's former senior trade adviser Peter Navarro about his new book "Taking Back Trump's America: Why We Lost the White House and How We'll Win it Back."

Mr. Navarro focused on the need for Trump supporters to get involved with local political candidates via sending them a small donation, signing petitions, driving people who need transportation to voting stations on election day, volunteering to serve as workers at voting stations on election day, or using Republican candidates' bumper stickers or lawn signs.

Even though there is virtually no evidence that the Democrats have been deprived of the computer and cryptological tools with which they -- and China and their other foreign allies -- stole the 2020 presidential election, Mr. Navarro was sure that if an enormous wave of pro-Trump voters gets to the polls on election day, the number of anti- Democratic voters will overwhelm the technology that the Democrats are sure to use to attempt to steal the 2022 midterm elections.

The Two Mikes were delighted to host Lt. Gen McInerney for the second edition of the "McInerny Report". General McInerney spoke briefly about five issues, and a discussion about them among the three of us followed:

--1.) The election of Giorgio Meloni as Italy's new Prime Minister is enormously important as it shows the broad and deep dislike of the Italian people have for the EU, the New World Order, and its Great Reset. Meloni's victory in Italy will encourage further European resistance to those that Meloni has identified as the Europe-based enemies of liberty.

--2.) The EU constantly lies about Europe's energy shortages. Germany, the UK, and The Netherlands are sitting on top of enormous fossil-fuel resources that with traditional development and fracking would greatly lessen Europe's need for energy imports. Instead of exploiting these resources, however, EU politicians decided to back the man-made climate fraud to the hilt, and so shut down most of the continent's substantial energy resources, just as Biden did in the United States.

--3.) The "Great Reset" is meant to destroy the republican democracy of the United States at the hands of Gates, Soros, Schwab, and their technocratic accomplices.

--4.) The FBI has proven itself to be completely out of control, and an gangster-like organization, with its recent raid -- using c. 30 officers -- on the private home of a pro-life advocate named Mark Houck and his wife and seven children. The FBI raid was based on an allegation that was irrelevant as it had already been dismissed in court.

--5.) Biden's open southern border has allowed nearly 4 milllion unwanted and uneeded illegal aliens into the country -- in addtion to many terrorists, cartel members, and foreign intelliegence and paramilitray operatives. The Cartels -- with China's help -- are bringing unprecedented amounts of fentanyl into the U.S. which is killing more than 100,000 mostly young Americans a year, an annual rate that is near the annual number of servicemen each year between 1941 and 1945.

Joel Skousen joined The Two Mikes this afternoon for a quick discussion about the current disastrous state of U.S. affairs.

On Trump, Mr. Skousen noted that he is in a highly dangerous period as the Deep State realizes that he is very likely to win the presidential election in 2024 if the nation survives until then.

It is a situation very much like that John Kennedy faced after the Bay of Pigs defeat, and said that he was going to shatter the CIA and let the wind blow away the pieces. The Deep State had the mafia kill him.

Given the Biden administration's intentional destruction of the U.S. economy and all its other catastrophic policies, the Democrats surely are expecting to be routed in this fall's election and probably in 2024 as well.

Desperate, the Deep State may settle on trying to kill Trump to put off what now seems inevitable defeat at the polls. Mr. Skousen added that Trump cannot count on any help from the Republican National Committee. The RNC raised millions of dollars supposedly to help Trump overturn the rigged 2020 election, and then pocketed those funds and never lifted a finger to help him.

Moreover, if the Biden gang decides to try and kill Trump there will be no lack of help being volunteered by the Globalists in Europe, as Trump remains public enemy number one of every Globalist and Deep Staters, including those who -- like Giuliani -- helped cover up the origins of the 9/11 attack..

The Two Mikes hosted Lt. General Thomas McInerney (ret'd) and retired Colonel Lawrence Sellin in the first episode of the "McInerney Update". General McInerney started by starkly describing the United States as "standing at a tipping point." He said that it is no way near a sure thing that the midterm elections will be free from fraud. Rather, there will be large-scale mail-in voting in some states and other forms of corruption remain rife in the national electoral system. A flood of pro-republican voters in the midterms may be able to overcome the Democrats' corruption, but Americans need to be aware that the Democrats intend to steal the election and still command the technological tools and foreign allies that allowed them to steal the 2020 presidential election. Colonel Sellin agreed on these points, and added that Americans must recognize that they and their republic are being attacked on all fronts because they no longer live in a functioning democratic republic. Americans are rather under attack by a globalist-controlled federal government that is hopelessly corrupt and hates them, and that is facilitating a lethal foreign invasion by Chinese fentanyl and illegal aliens over our southern border. On balance, Colonel Sellin said that elections probably will not help this dire situation.

Clay Clark, the head of an organization called "Time to Free America" (timetofreeamerica.org) joined The Two Mikes today to discuss issues of note in the run-up to the midterm elections. Among the new pieces of information he provided were:

--Biden has been at work planning the "Great Reset" since 2016, and was praised by WEF leader Klaus Schwab for doing so much to ensure that the U.S. would be taken over by the New World Order. Biden also was the drafter of the Patriot Act, which gave birth to the American police-state.

--The WEF's "Fourth Industrial Revolution" promoted by the WEF is not about what the individual does, but what he does. The individual is to become a hive of electronic microchips that will determine his activities and trace his every step.

--Schwab's right hand-Nazi, the Israeli Yuval Noah Harari, has said that the product of the "Fourth Industrial Revolution" will not be planes, weapons, or appliances, but human beings that are controlled and directed by the electronic microchips that the New World Order tyrant implants in them. Biden already has signed an Executive Order (E.O. 14067) on "Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing" which will begin to be executed on 13 December 2022 and will produce "circuitry for cells" in each human being, thereby making him or her programmable

Today, The Two Mikes hosted David E. Bernstein, who holds a University Professorship chair at the Antonin Scalia Law School of George Mason University.

Professor Bernstein has just published a long-needed book about the "sordid business" of the federal government's racial classification system.

The book is called Classified: The Untold Story of Racial Classification in America.

The racial classification system started out a well-intentioned tool to assist the Black-Americans to compete economically and in educational opportunities during the Civil Rights Era. As with many of the national government's good intentions, the racial classification system has become a civil rights nightmare by enabling bureaucrats to define race more or less as they see fit.

For example, Europeans from Spain are identified in the same category as South American Hispanics and an almost infinitesimal percentage of Asian, African, or Native American blood in an individual allows that person to claim that heritage for a leg-up in jobs, education, and the federal dole.

One of the endorsers of Dr. Berntsein's Book, Law Professor Glenn Reynolds, best-sums up the point and great worth of the book by writing that the book's analysis of the mess the United States is in because of its racial classification system is total and obvious: "We mock the racial-classification schemes of the Jim Crow South, Nazi Germany, and Aparthied South Africa. But as David Bernstein has ably demonstrated, our own racial-classification system is just as risible, and no more scientific."

"We now are witnessing the wokeness of Satan's society," said Fred Coulter of the Christian Biblical Church of God in Hollister, CA.

The Two Mikes were lucky to again host Fred Coulter and we got a learned and much-needed presentation from this estimable pastor and gentlemen.

"People are lost," he said, "and the world is getting worse by the second."

And how can people turn around this dire situation? Mr. Coulter said that there is only one way out of this mess, and that is to get to know God in the only way that is possible -- read the Bible and pay special attention to the Ten Commandments.

God has made all on earth, and He is the master of both heaven and earth. He knows all that occurs, all that people think and do, and that there is now a great and growing distance separating the earth's 7.5 billion people and the crystal clear instructions in His book.

God always wants action from humans; He will not come to people on their terms, but only on the terms that God has created and which are recorded in the Bible.

Mr. Coulter assured all listeners that God will find and listen to anyone who seeks him out via the terms he set; that is, using behavior and beliefs that accord with the Ten Amendments. Once a person connects with God, he explains, they must seek to associate and work with others who have connected to God and "the spirit of God will be there to help you."

Those who say they accept God without obeying his commandments and repenting are lost.

A person must be truthfully able to say: "I know the Lord and I keep his commandments."

Smelling Salts From John B Wells: The Media Is Without Question The Republic's Enemy

John B. Wells, host of the nationally syndicated radio program Caravan to Midnight, joined The Two Mikes this afternoon to discuss the republic's growing Democrats-caused and Republican-supported miseries.

"The media is without question the republic's enemy ... they are not journalists, they are script readers."

Mr. Wells was unsure whether the country can do anything to stop Biden and the Globalists' planned and ongoing destruction of the United States, their starting of civil and race wars, and their promotion of utter lawlessness and rife corruption.

Mr. Wells said the tragic truth in America today is that the governing elite prefer "human extinction to taking the chance of losing profits."

These people, he added, "act like gods", and will do anything to "mangle our children mentally and physically," and provide them with an education that teaches them "only things that will destroy civilization."

With such a murderous scourge many stalking the land and most Americans, those who support the republic, the family, and a decent society will have a tough road to hoe from here on out.

Mr. Wells suggested that Americans go to political events, other public meetings, call call-in radio programs, and attend schoolboard and other local government sessions and make their views known as bluntly as possible.

This procedure will get exposure for their views, and with luck, offend many people and perhaps give them a chance to rethink their anti-human and ant-American views.
