Network Special

This week we tackle another pilot gone wrong and this time it went REALLY wrong. The Jerk, Too is an alternate universe for - you guessed it - the Steve Martin classic The Jerk. Sadly, there is no Steve Martin here but we get all kinds of nods to the original (just not any of the funny ones). Thankfully, a Randy Newman-alike gives us a classic banger of a theme song so all is not lost.

It's a very divisive episode this week as the boys disagree heavily on this week's show! One of us loved this perfectly scary and effective TV movie that stretched its horror to the limits of broadcast TV in the early 80s and the other one of us is dumb. It's a very "dark night" for the show! Tune in to see if this is the last episode we record, or if we make up and carry on!

It's extra spooky this week as the Network Special fellas talk about a few different Disney Halloween Specials that all seem eerily similar! Every year Disney released a clip show with slightly different narrators and sections that all run together in the mind. In fact, both hosts watched a completely different special and didn't realize it until the record! Tune in to find out how THAT kind of thing works on a show like this.
