Network Special

This week on Network Special we go back to our childhood basements to bring you our memories and experiences with a Star Wars outcast! We take you deep into the C-canon of the SW Universe where magic and furries rule the land. All thanks go to George Lucas and his nanny for this fun, child-focused TV special.

On a very groovy episode of Network Special, the hippies talk about a Friday night special movie featuring a werewolf who gets all mad at Woodstock and goes on a rampage. This movie - produced by Dick Clark - is a precursor to those spooky X-files you keep hearing about. If you're looking for low production values and a Spirit Halloween costume affair, then check out this week's episode!

Hello everyone! It's Nathan - I write these show descriptions and I want to take a minute to talk to you while Zachariah is in the other room. He doesn't seem to think that Saved by the Bell is all that great. He was too good for it when he was a kid and turned up his nose whenever it would come on (probably while sipping his cold Campbell's tomato soup that he called "gazpacho"). Sadly, I think this might be the last time we talk about the Bell on our show so I just wanted to take this time out to say what I really think about my co-host. He's a total NUT! Anyway, here's this week's episode.

It's February which means that love is in the air except for our good ol' pal Charlie Brown who just can't quite muster up the strength to stop grieving and talk to a red-headed stepchild. We tackle TWO specials featuring Brown and the gang; one from the 1960s and one from the 2000s to see how they stack up and if they still have the same magic. Tune in to find out what WE think about that - or just watch them yourself and skip this episode. WE DON'T MIND!!

This week on Network Special we go back into the Disney vaults to bring you a charming tale of greed, invention, and basketball. This show was a great vehicle (PUN INTENDED) for Jeff Cohen who starred in The Goonies as Chunk one year earlier. He nails the role of Max who is a child super genius who becomes a board member of a toy company (and he doesn't even have to get a magical wish granted from an arcade machine). Tune in to hear us enjoy something for once!

In the final week of Marvel Month, we SMASH into the green avenger himself, The Incredible Hulk! The best of the three that we watched, this special turned into multiple well-loved seasons of the show. We talk about this un-failed pilot but mostly we gush about the toys that it spawned.
