In 2007, I became self-employed, in pursuit of "freedom and flexibility." Unfortunately, I did so with no game plan, and no safety net to speak of.

By 2008, I was so broke, I had to ride my bicycle to meet a new client, as I didn't have money for gas. When my card was declined for a small coffee, as the client walked through the door (and bought my coffee,) I knew something had to give. I spent the next 3 years studying the habits of highly successful entrepreneurs, and ultimately developed a strategy to promote my value in a way that felt authentic, easy and FUN! We also started investing in real estate, which now affords us the opportunity to live our dream life, in our dream home. (It's easier than you think!)

By 2012, I'd gone from broke to 6 figures... and I promptly burned out. I had no systems in place to manage the growth, and found myself trading all my time for money. Pregnant with our second child, I was drowning in life, and in business. I tried convincing myself to be "grateful" because we finally had money to pay the bills. But I was ready to throw in the towel altogether.

Luckily, I didn't quit! I sought help, built systems, and started hiring. By 2015, the business had doubled again. Today, our business continues to grow, and I do much less, in order to do much more. I focus on the essential, and show others how to do the same.

I'm committed to having both time AND financial freedom. I believe you actually can have it all. If you can relate, I'm here to help! I know how desperate I was when I first got started. And I remember how difficult it was later, when I was overwhelmed and burning out. Both are stressful! I now have a system that solves both problems, and it's my mission to share it with you!

After 15 years of mentoring and leading women in growing their businesses, she found that there was a common thread between women who achieved great success prior to starting a family and then struggled through the adjustment of balancing a growing business or career with a family because they still had high expectations for their own performance but there was only so much time in day to get ‘all the things done’. In the process, they grow weary and overwhelmed knowing they cannot last at this pace. Health issues may begin to loom, relationships with loved ones begin to suffer, and happiness starts to become an occasional feeling.

Through growing her first successful business, she was also growing a family. But in the process, she wasn’t being the mom or wife she had hoped to be. She was super stress and overwhelmed by all the demands coming at her from every angle in her life. She knew there had to be a better way. She made it her mission to figure it out and teach other women the same. She began coaching women out of overwhelm to greater achievement, to embrace simplicity, to experience happiness and peace within each day and not just an occasional event.

She believes at her core true happiness comes when you become the person your vision requires you to be and it’s possible for each person to create a life they dare to dream about.

One a personal note, she loves crazy amounts of Mexican food and sugar cookies. Her free spirit has taken her to explore parts of the world traveling on a shoestring with only the belongings on her back. She is a wanderlust at heart and adventure seeker experiencing life to the fullest.

She is a God-loving, wife, mom of 2 and on mission to help high performance females up level their whole life because she is a strong believer and example that you don’t have to sacrifice yourself or your family to achieve the level of success you desire in your business or career.

Skedago was founded in 2016 by Dr. Becky Peterson, a Stanford Medical School graduate who practiced Radiology and Neuroradiology until 2013. Her active lifestyle required a hydration solution without excessive sugar, sugar substitutes, or artificial ingredients. Thus, she created Skedago with the first production run in Spring 2019 and began to sell in local retailers such as Montclair Farms, The Montclair Bikery and Moss & More, as well as sponsoring local events such as the Ashenfelter 5K in 2019. 

A year later, Skedago products became available for purchase on Amazon. Dr. Becky created the company name, branding, logo, and recipes, and is the 100% owner of Skedago.

Dr. Becky has always enjoyed being active, whether it's running, biking, hiking, skiing, tennis, waterskiing, or sailing. She has completed three marathons, two at Big Sur and one on Vancouver Island, and has a particular passion for trail-running.  Dr. Becky lives in Northern New Jersey with her three boys and their Silver Labrador Tyler.
