In the season one finale, I finally had all of my questions answered. I have always been interested in fashion, design, and the loyalty that surrounds streetwear culture. I wanted to know the process - what goes into a brand, and how these designers came up with the concept of their companies. There was no better guest than Alex Carter. He has years of experience in building clothing companies from the ground up, and is in the middle of building his new company called Gold Ghost. I figured this was the perfect opportunity to ask him where he gets his inspiration, what keeps him driven, and what unexpected struggles he has encountered along the way. This is one of my most informative episodes so far, we cover how he got started, where he learned his design skills, what it's like having to move from one company to a new one, and so much more. If you are interested in what goes into building a brand, listen in because Alex does a great job of explaining everything in depth.
