In this week's episode, Allie talks about the dangers of waiting for happiness to happen to you instead of choosing it now. People often hold onto the idea that "I will do XYZ and then  I will be happy" or "I will be XYZ and then I will be perfect" or "I will have XYZ and then I will be satisfied." 

Allie questions whether you need to wait at all, and if maybe--just maybe--the thing you are waiting for has been waiting for YOU to choose it all along.

I know this isn't a rare occurrence for womxn with ADHD, and I felt called to share some of my history and events.  I am not here to show you how perfect I am, I am here to share with you how I deal with not being perfect. ADHD isn't something that can be fixed or cured, but there are so many ways you can heal your living to support your brain. That is why I created Mortar & Mystery.
