Pastor Jeff Johnson speaking about football awards ceremony reminds us that it is only through the path of getting hit and knocked that the players will receive their awards. The same is true for the Christian as well. As we live for Jesus we too will take our lumps. However, the path that is marked by obstacles for the Christian will always end in at the judgment seat of Christ where evaluation and hopefully awards await us as well.
